About Bonkemon Legend

Bonkemon Legend is a short creature-catching roguelike made for the 2022 7DRL Challenge. Each run sends a fresh party through a procedurally generated dungeon where rooms reveal the Bonkemon waiting inside.

Survival depends on building a useful team and reading the elemental wheel. A favorable matchup deals double damage, while attacking into a resistant element cuts the damage in half.

Battle, Capture, and Reposition

Every turn gives you two actions. Select one of your Bonkemon, then choose a valid slot to move, swap places, or attack the enemy frontline. Positioning determines which allies can reach a target.

After winning, drag creatures to capture them, give them away, or rearrange the party before choosing the next room.

How to Play

• Click a highlighted room on the dungeon map.
• Select a Bonkemon, then click a valid destination or enemy target.
• Use the elemental wheel to plan strong attacks.
• Spend both actions before ending the turn.
• Drag captured Bonkemon into your team after battle.
