About CREECH
CREECH is a creature-collecting roguelite built around compact runs and turn-based fights. You assemble a squad, hunt new creatures, combine their abilities, and push through increasingly dangerous encounters before facing the run’s bosses.
The current build contains 32 creatures and more than 150 skills. Those options make team construction the central challenge: a useful creature is not only a set of stats, but also a collection of attacks, defenses, status effects, and interactions that can answer a particular enemy lineup.
Hunt and Build a Squad
Enemy creatures can be captured and added to the team. A run therefore changes as you discover better combinations, replace a weak link, or recruit a creature that covers an elemental weakness in the current formation.
Battles can grow to four creatures on each side. Reading the opposing team before committing actions is important because targeting, weaknesses, and the order in which threats are removed can decide whether the squad reaches the next fight intact.
Skills, Weaknesses, and Bosses
The large skill pool gives creatures specialized jobs instead of making every battle a simple damage race. A balanced lineup can apply pressure, protect vulnerable allies, exploit weaknesses, and preserve enough health for the encounters that follow.
Four bosses anchor the run. They test whether the team has developed beyond a single trick and whether you can adapt when a familiar attack pattern no longer works.
How to Play
- Start a new run, choose a class, and select the first creatures for the squad.
- Use the mouse to inspect abilities and choose actions and targets.
- Capture useful enemy creatures as the run opens new team-building options.
- Match skills and creature strengths against the weaknesses in each enemy formation.
- Keep the squad flexible enough to handle larger fights and four different bosses.
- Use the help manual whenever a symbol or system is unclear because the game has no guided tutorial.
