About Creeptids
Creeptids is a dark monster-taming strategy game where creatures are resources as much as companions. It combines fast 3v3 turn-based combat with tile-by-tile exploration, biome effects, upgrades, fatigue, and permanent death.
Randomness plays a smaller role than in many roguelikes. The game is designed so that positioning, route choices, party construction, and resource decisions determine whether a team survives.
3v3 Tactical Battles
Combat revolves around three-creature teams. Types, positions, passive abilities, and the current biome all influence a fight. A strong individual monster can still fail if its placement or matchup leaves the rest of the formation exposed.
Fatigue prevents one lineup from solving every encounter. You need to develop alternatives, decide when to risk a valuable creature, and plan around the possibility that a lost party member will not return.
Explore, Upgrade, and Sacrifice
The map is revealed one tile at a time. Each move can expose loot, a battle, a favorable environment, or a more dangerous route into the unknown. Exploration therefore becomes part of the strategy instead of a path between fights.
Runes provide upgrades, while creatures can be sacrificed to transfer levels and strengthen the survivors. These systems create difficult tradeoffs between keeping a broad roster and concentrating power in a smaller team.
How to Play
- Choose a mode and difficulty from the main menu.
- Reveal the map gradually and compare the risks of each available route.
- Build a three-creature formation around types, positions, passives, and biome bonuses.
- Manage fatigue so important creatures are ready for the hardest encounters.
- Use loot and runes to improve the team between battles.
- Treat every loss seriously because creature death is permanent.

FAQs
Is Creeptids a story campaign?
