About Prismbound
Prismbound is a tiny turn-based spirit-taming RPG created for the js13kGames competition. The entire submitted game fits inside a 13 KiB archive, yet it includes an overworld, a team of three, evolutions, hidden encounters, bosses, and a complete capture loop.
You play a unicorn exploring a fractured prism world. Elemental spirits hide in tall grass, and rainbow magic is used to battle, calm, and eventually Harmonize with them.
Six Affinities and Party Shifts
The six affinities form a circular relationship: Solar, Tide, Grove, Moon, Volt, and Ember. Exploiting those matchups matters, but cooldowns and shields prevent every turn from being a simple strongest-attack choice.
Shifting to another spirit can trigger a resonance, giving the order of the three-member team tactical value. Training reaches level ten, and spirits can evolve into stronger forms.
Harmonize New Spirits
Capturing is called Harmonizing. First reduce the enemy’s Discord, then judge whether the current affinity, defenses, and timing make the attempt safe. Hidden Prism Echoes and a Sanctuary expand the collection beyond ordinary grass encounters.
Mastering all 12 forms opens the Prism Seal and the path toward the Prism Warden.
