Monster Trainer RL is a procedural creature-collecting RPG set in the land of Tokan. You choose a starting monster, travel across a changing world, find new companions, and prepare to face eight gym leaders.

Wild pocket monsters can become part of the team as you travel. Capturing and training them gives you more options for tough encounters, so it is worth looking beyond a single strong starter.
The party controls make it possible to choose team members, manage inventory, and use skills while exploring. Keep the group ready for the next leader rather than spending every resource on one fight.
How to Play
- Select a starting monster and begin a new trip through Tokan.
- Move with the arrow keys, QWEASDZXC, or the numeric keypad.
- Search for monsters to capture and train into useful party members.
- Press I to manage inventory and 1-6 to select a party slot.
- Challenge the eight gym leaders and work toward the Monster Master title.
